Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution
- Supervising day-to-day operations in the customer service department.
- Hiring and training new customer service agents
- Implement opening and closing procedures
- Manage telephone traffic
- Access inventory information and advise sales associates
- Complete sales transactions
- Cash handling
- Execute daily checklists
- Reviewing orders for accuracy
- Explain terms for customer pick up or delivery
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Customer Service Representative, Supervisor or Team Leader.
- Experience in providing customer service support
- Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques
- Creating effective customer service procedures, policies, and standards
- Ability to think strategically and to lead
- Skilled at balancing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Patience, compassion and empathy
