JOB SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the SMH Director, the individual in this position is responsible for performing mental health treatment services, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and coordinating patient care with appropriate staff. This person is also responsible for providing clinical supervision and support to Behavioral Health staff, conducting quality improvement projects, and developing, implementing, and enforcing standards and protocols in clinical practices.This includes, supervising a multi-disciplinary group of mental health interns and trainees (MSW intern, MFT intern); confers with interns/trainees regularly regarding techniques used, case progress, and related matters for the purpose of promoting and evaluating professional development and assuring quality of care, as well as reviewing work in progress. Traveling to different clinic sites is required.
