The Director of Marketing Solutions will help drive value and marketplace impact through Commercial Partnerships, leveraging our global portfolio of Arenas, Stadiums, Theaters and Convention Centers. This individual will be responsible for developing objective-driven solutions for brand partners and conducting analytical assessments within the portfolio. This individual will work closely with the VP of Marketing Solutions, ASM Global’s global sales team and other internal stakeholders to develop go-to-market strategies and materials. The position will also be responsible for identifying assets, inventory, opportunities, best practices, and fresh ideas across the portfolio to bring to market. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with sales team through extended sales cycles on development of strategic and professional materials for the brand marketplace Generate compelling and relevant opportunities for commercial partner brands in response to client briefs within tight deadlines Conduct internal due diligence, market research, and data mining related to commercial partnership initiatives Distill significant amounts of information and conduct analyses to arrive at categorical and brand specific partnership recommendations Develop actionable insights to help grow the business through cross-department collaboration Identify new opportunities for prospective clients through analysis of industry trends and category yield Participate in development of custom ownership platforms and go-to-market innovative concepts for sales to take to market Serve as strategy and marketing lead in presentation of brand partnerships to clients as part of integrated sales process Lead post sale process, including oversight of contract generation, internal stakeholder communication, and transition to partnership activation team Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with focus and enthusiasm The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Education and/or Experience Bachelors' degree preferred in Marketing, Business, or related field along with a minimum of six (6) years’ experience in the music, entertainment, media, sports or brand marketing industry related to partnership sales Skills and Abilities Highly self-motivated, initiative-taking mindset that enables the ability to work independently Understanding of the live entertainment industry from a partnership, marketing, and media perspective Willingness to learn the underpinnings of the venue management and operations business Strong business acumen, with both analytical and creative problem-solving skills Ambitious and innovative Excellent presentation and organizational skills Excellent communication and writing skills Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking with tight deadlines Passion for collaboration Strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products Ability to remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur NOTE The essential responsibilities of this position are described under the headings above.
