F&B Set up Crew

JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: F&B Set Up DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage REPORTS TO: F&B Manager FLSA STATUS: PT Hourly The Set-up Team Member is responsible for performing work as needed to prepare for events at all 3 ASM buildings; Mobile Civic Center, Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center, and Saenger Theater. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Adhere to facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Keep Manager informed on status of work and complete tasks as assigned within the time period provided Assist with proper storage of all event related equipment and supplies as directed Report to work when scheduled, on time, in proper and clean attire. Ability to take direction and complete assigned tasks accurately and on time Ability to work both as a part of a team and independently without direct supervision Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, which could include evenings/nights, and weekends as dictated by event activity Participates in Event set-ups and strikes, including but not limited to setting, clothing, and skirting tables, building cages with correct product for each event, preparing concession stands, building bars, fill merchandisers with product. Other responsibilities may include replenishing supplies and operating pallet jacks. Skills and Abilities: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to work hours that vary based on business needs and event requirements Good verbal and interpersonal skills required Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic Good communication skills Physical Demands: Extensive walking Occasionally long periods of standing Ability to climb stairs Ability to climb stairs while carrying product Kneeling Lift, carry, push/pull items weighing up to approximately 50 lbs.
