Solar Installer

Qualifications

• Experience working with residential rooftop solar panels
• Reliability and an excellent, positive attitude
• Ability to work in extreme environments such as hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.
• Ability to safely handle tools and materials such as ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, etc.
• Ability to work at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs
• Ability to perform repetitive duties including lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, and standing for long periods of time
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering the highest quality end-product possible

You Might Also Have

• OSHA certification and/or knowledge of OSHA standards

Responsibilities

• Pull materials for each installation job
• Layout assembly and installation of solar array and mounting hardware
• Assist with the electrical wiring of all energy products
• Prepare and clean-up job site
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to all customers throughout the process
• Represent as a field contact for the customer

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Construction: 1 year (Required)
• Solar Technicians: 1 year (Preferred)
