Asphalt Green is looking to hire a Systems Specialist to join our IT Data Team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Salesforce environment, supporting over 200 end users. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a liaison between the IT department and various program and service departments, understanding and documenting issues, conducting training, and ensuring quality assurance for new functionality. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, empathetic, and committed to delivering excellence in customer service and technical support.

Location: Hybrid/NYC area
Key Responsibilities
- Understand Asphalt Green’s technology systems landscape.
- Manage end-to-end analytical experience from extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) to data visualization and storytelling.
- Act as the first line of support for end-users, addressing complex system tasks and procedures.
- Understand and document user issues, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
- Conduct training sessions for new employees and on new functionality.
- Develop, refine, and manage end-user documentation, both through original content creation and aggregating existing policies and SOPs.
- Ensure thorough testing and quality assurance of new functionalities before their release.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Salesforce Administrator and Database Administrator on various projects.
- Assist in the declarative configuration of Asphalt Green’s Salesforce environment, including custom object metadata, page layouts, validation rules, and security settings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in a support or customer service role.
- Experience as an end user of Salesforce plus familiarity with Traction Rec or NPSP.
- Understanding of Salesforce’s declarative configuration and security mechanisms.
- Proficiency in word processing and documentation tools.
- Salesforce Administrator certification or willingness to pursue training and certification.

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
