If this sounds like the place for you, read on, and then apply at aspida.com/careers.   What We Are Looking For Position Summary: The Operations Development Trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, and documenting training programs and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for our skilled and fast-paced Operations team. This will include providing leading-edge training on our insurance and annuity products as well as the operational platforms being used by our Operations team. This role reports to the Director of Learning and Development and is located in our Durham, NC office. What You Will Do Position Responsibilities: Serve as a key player in culture building and leader in employee engagement Train our Operations team on insurance basics and Aspida’s insurance and annuity products Provide training on the latest system and platform updates and rollouts that directly impact Operations Assist in development, writing, and training of Operations SOPs including updating legacy processes Train on various soft skills topics to upskill and uplevel the team Design and train on Operations process flows across all systems and platforms Onboard new Operations team members after new hire orientation is complete Assist in identifying system gaps and process inefficiencies Evaluate Operations training outcomes vs training programs Responsible for various administrative tasks such as employee exam scheduling and progress documentation Develop learning aids such as self-paced material, job aids, videos, and demo scripts Serve as a backup for various functional areas within the L&D department Collaborate with all functional roles within Operations on related projects and training Maintain complete confidentiality of company business What We Require Position Requirements: 3-5 years of relevant experience in professional training and classroom facilitation At least 2 years of experience in the insurance and annuities industry, preferably in a facilitation or training role Life Insurance and/or additional insurance industry certifications preferred. If not yet certified, this role will require successful completion of NC Insurance License exam within 90 days of hire. 2 years of demonstrated experience successfully developing and delivering training programs utilizing skills in instructional design, program design & development, and training methodologies Experience with group training and virtual training methods Working knowledge of current and emerging training strategies and tools Learns complex topics and systems quickly to assess, develop, redesign and/or deliver training modules based on training priorities Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills Interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint applications Skilled in the use of LMS software and learning applications Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills What We Provide Compensation: Salaried, DOE Full-Time Full Benefits Package Available   What We Believe At Aspida Financial Services, LLC, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
