We are seeking a PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT to work at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, Michigan. The Physical Therapist Assistant carries out patient treatment procedures for pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients under the guidance and general supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
Experience/Qualifications/Licensure
- Knowledge of physical therapy standards and practices normally acquired through completion of an Associate Degree from a Physical Therapist Assistant program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
- Current CPR certification
- Current Michigan PTA license
- 1-3 years’ experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant desirable.
Hours: This position is occasional / as needed. Weekends only, 8a-1p.
