Assembler/Production

We are searching for assemblers in Plant City, FL.

This is a first shift position from 6:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday, some Fridays with over time. (32-40hrs a week)

The assembler must inspect each section as they are completed to ensure they meet specifications, with an emphasis on accuracy and quality in all products.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and quality standards and procedures
• Able to stand, bend, full range of motion, and lift at least 50 pounds frequently in shift
• Review work order instructions before each project
• Positions parts and components by using templates or reading measurements
• Assemble each product according to work order specifications
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component
• Conduct quality assurance checks to confirm that assembled products meet quality standards
• Identify any product defects; record and report them accordingly
• Complete required quality and production forms
• Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary product in your workstation
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts as stated on work order instructions
• Resolves assembly problems to meet specifications or notify supervisor to obtain additional resources
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Knowledge of hand tools and some manufacturing equipment
• 1 years of assembly experience preferred
• Proficient with a variety of manual tools, power tools and tape measure

Other Requirements:

Must wear steel-toed boots, protective eye-wear, and hearing protection. Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to heat/cold conditions and levels of noise, and potential exposure to various industrial liquids, oils, gases, etc. Meeting physical requirements, such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time during entire shift and able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation, is required.
