ASRC Federal AFSS is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to support a NASA contract in Greenbelt, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Space Weather Observations (SWO) Program Division in conducting variance analysis between actual and standard costs to assist management in decision making and other SWO initiatives.
- Responsible for breaking down cost summaries into WBS-level reports.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on SWO budget activities by providing estimate to complete of SWO project and initiatives.
- Assistance and advisement in cost management, financial and cost analyses, lifecycle resource management, alternative scenario analyses, and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) evaluation.
- Contractor rate tracking, comparative reporting with DCMA publications.
- Assist and advise the Configuration Control Board (CCB) with cost impact assessments.
- Provide cost estimating/evaluation and trend analysis activities.
- Monitor and advise the Government in the management of contractor development actuals and funding.
- Review and analyze NASA Form 533 and EVM Cost Performance Report data.
- As required, participate in contractor reviews at contractor facilities, including integrated baseline reviews, design and engineering discussions, Government and contractor technical interchange meetings, and in-progress reviews of contractor-developed documents.
