Overview of Position: The HRBP will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing, and enforcing company policies and practices. This position will work closely with their HR team and leadership counterparts to coordinate and execute company-wide organizational strategies.
Description of Duties/Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- New hire paperwork – run required background checks and obtaining the required data needed for that position. Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed and returned within a timely manner.
- Ensure Orientation Binders are created for all new hires
- Maintain current and terminated employee personnel files by ensuring records are filed correctly and timely.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ensure Applicant Flow Logs are maintained.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale and training and development.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Responsible for accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll and off-cycle incentive payments.
- Researches and resolves questions related to the processing of payroll information such as vacation, holiday, direct deposit, garnishments, employment verification, workers’ compensation, retroactive pay calculations, tax questions, and other changes.
- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews.
- Report temp hours weekly
- Maintain company’s organization chart
- Supports HR projects and initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least one to three years of HR experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
