HID’s Sales Team: 

 

As our Sales Representative, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

  • As a Sales Representative in Mexico, you will be responsible for archiving assigned sales quotas and goals for customers located in Mexico.
  • Maintain actual relationship with actual partners and work with them to reach agreed goals, set by Regional Sales manager.
  • Prospects and develops business with new channel partners in region and potential.
  • Identify key end user/projects to specify our products in different vertical markets.
  •  Responds to RFP’s and develops proposals for presentation to customers.
  • Coordinates accounts resources with marketing and tech support.
  • Represent HID in events and trade show.
  • As part of the HID team, you need to be able to work with coworkers.
  • The candidate will process and follow up on leads using the tools provided by the company such as salesforce.
  • Manage and deliver monthly forecast and weekly sales reports and follow up on monthly backlog and projects pipeline.
  • Manage documentation to process Mexican regulation certificates (NOM).

  • Analyze customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of HID products, services and solutions.
  • Drive all sales activities including specification writing, prospecting, proposal coordination, contract preparation, negotiations, and closing.
  • Sell products, services, and solutions to gain new business through prospecting, networking, and generated leads and referrals.
  • Make formal presentations and arrange technology demonstrations, both to customers and partners, and at trade and industry events etc
  • Attend regional and global trade shows, conferences, and other events.
  • Enter opportunities and pipeline information on the company’s CRM system and keep this always maintained.
  • Continually provide information to management concerning HID competitive marketing and sales strategies
  • Recommend HID solutions to customers, negotiate and close business; prepare and manage forecasts in accordance with assigned business development objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of an integrated sales & marketing strategy including, but not limited to market segmentation, research and analysis, forecasting, communication, and execution; provide input for all sales and business development related activities.
  • Collect information and build up a comprehensive picture of the government and competitive landscape in the assigned countries for all target programs (passport issuance, driving licenses, National ID, voter registration heath cards and so on, as well as mobile ID and biometrics opportunities in all segments).
  • Define, in conjunction with the regional Head of Sales, target opportunities by sector, with timings (immediate pursuit, medium term positioning, longer term strategic initiatives, business development)
  • Identify opportunities for HID to move up the value chain in its chosen market, by identifying suitable solution and service offerings.
  • Assist with building and executing a strategy for the region for ID issuance in the assigned accounts.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
  • Identify suitable partners early in the evaluation of opportunities to ensure HID positions at its maximum value level (solutions as opposed to components, where possible)
  • Participate as a speaker in conferences, trade shows, advertising and web conference.
  • Other duties may be assigned as and when required.

 

Education and/or Experience         

  • College degree in Business/Marketing/Economics/ Engineering.
  • Candidate must be able to demonstrate a track record of sales achievement.
  • 3 years sales/business development experience and solution-based methodologies.
  • Must have strong presentation and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to create and effectively communicate strategies for the territory, and have a strong understanding of how solutions must be built around local, national, or regional drivers, be these political, economic, technical etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
  • Most have the ability to read/understand sales forecast.

At HID, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
