What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service position at Assaypro?
Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct customer calls to proper department.
Provide telephone sales and customer support for a variety of biomedical products
Creation of packing lists.
Print shipping documents and instructions for ordered items
Gathering ordered items and verifying all items and shipping documents are correct prior to packaging,
Maintain/update in stock inventory and notify production department of low quantities and backorders.
Schedule domestic and international shipments with FedEx, UPS, and DHL
Verifying Customer and account data by reviewing and correcting information. Ensure entered data is accurate.
Handling/packing temperature sensitive items for global transport.
Attach address labels, identification codes, and shipping instructions on to shipment
Verify incoming and outgoing shipment accuracy and records
Aid in unloading supplier deliveries and maintaining warehouse organization.
Maintain equipment used in package sealing process.
Prepare Biohazard waste for pickup by certified agency.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent
and/or
Preferred experience with customer service, familiarity with FedEx shipping software and Windows OS.
