This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Makena Golf & Beach Club, set on Maui, HI.Makena is seeking a Farm Attendant to join the Farm Department.
The Farm Attendant will assist with maintaining Naulu Farm. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.
Key Responsibilities
Pruning, seeding, transplanting, weeding, cultivation and harvesting.
Feed and clean livestock and chicken coup.
Report to work on time and as scheduled.
Comply with all Company policy and procedures.
Complete other duties and tasks as assigned by Executive Chef.
Qualifications

Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holiday and a shift greater than ten (10) hours in length.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; additional languages preferred; basic math skills.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than four (8) hours, and lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling
