SUMMARY: Responsible for administration of company policies to warehouse personnel, monitoring and improving productivity, maintaining cost control methods within position area of supervision and development of personnel reporting to this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervise warehouse employees in basic functions of housing product in the various warehouses, selecting orders, and preparing for delivery to members in the most efficient and effective manner.
Responsible for seeing that state, federal, and AWG security and sanitation policies are maintained.
Monitor productivity of employees.
Insuring proper storage of product to protect from potential contamination and damage.
Responsible for subordinate development and training as related to area of responsibility with employees.
Performs other duties as requested by the Warehouse Manager.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Degree or equivalent; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
