What You'll Do
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement within financial and operational data sets.
- Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Collaborate with internal teams to establish and implement data-driven solutions for improved efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing well-documented and analyzed financial information.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data-driven internal controls to enhance financial data integrity.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA candidate or certification is a plus.
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles with experience in data analysis.
- People leadership/management experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.
- Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
