Policy Assistant Role Responsibilities:
We are searching for a friendly, attentive Policy Assistant to join our growing team. As a part of our collective team interfacing directly with AssuredPartners clients and prospects, you will be responsible for consistently delivering a positive client experience. The Policy Assistant is responsible for assisting in the retention of renewing accounts, keeping with agency goals, and soliciting new accounts. Provides field service to designated accounts in support of agent(s) activities and maintains high service standards.
- Day to day responsibilities include assisting our personal lines insurance clients with policy changes, following up with carriers as needed, and reviewing endorsements for accuracy
- Provide top-notch client service to clients
- Manage a large number of time-sensitive client issues at any given time
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment handling a large volume of calls, emails, faxes, and paperwork without cutting corners while maintaining accuracy and integrity
- Reduce confusion and frustration by assisting clients/prospects with complex paperwork
- Research complex issues, think outside the box to solve problems, and follow up promptly with actionable solutions
- Resolve client issues in a timely manner pro-actively and collaboratively with the team
- Learn and develop technical knowledge through vendor meetings, research, and training classes on an ongoing basis
- Keep a detailed record of correspondence through our client relationship system with prospective and existing clients, vendors, and referral partners
Policy Assistant Requirements:
- 1 years of experience within personal lines insurance preferred
- Texas State Property & Casualty License preferred, but not required
- Experience with Insurance Agency Software preferred
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint), PDF editing software, and strong keyboarding skills highly preferred
