Position Title: Accounting Analyst
Industry: Insurance
Location: White Plains, NY
Pay: $22-25/hr.
A well-known insurance company is looking to bring someone on to their accounting team! The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of bank reconciliation experience.
Candidate's must be commutable to their office 5 days a week in White Plains, NY.
Job Responsibilities:
· Analyze accounting entries and adjustments related to and/or affecting the cash accounts
· Reconcile the bank balances to the general ledger
· Create the bank reconciliation schedule and outstanding lists
· Prepare Aging Reports
· Assist outside auditors
· Interface with MIS, Claims and Retirement personnel
· Special projects as needed
