Aston Carter is hiring Pre Authorization Specialists for a large hospital system in Indianapolis!
$16/hr // Remote after training // Opportunities for growth!
Description:
- Handling communication and documentation around high cost drugs, injections in office and medications that are ordered by physicians that are costly and require prior authorization.
- Works under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality. If these prior auths are not completed on time it can take up to 90 days for medications to come through.
- Adheres to departmental productivity and quality standards in support of operational goals
Requirements:
- Pre-Authorization or healthcare insurance experience
- Quick learner and can teach others
- Strong job history
- Data entry skills
