Job Description: Customer Account Specialist – Wireline (Voice)
For Aston Carter: Salary range starts at $36,500.00 (Winnipeg) & $38,000 (Vancouver/Calgary) (is determined based on experience)

By answering customers questions about their services, and tailor their accounts you will show how we meet their and their families’ conductivity needs. In exceeding the customers’ expectations you are providing the best in class customer service, being accountable to First Call resolution of all the customers’ needs and creating a loyal customer by being professional, pleasant and knowledgeable.
• Associates will wear many hats within the call center.
• The purpose of this is to work with retention inquiries, move conversation to upselling contract add ons - ie faster internet, better cable package, etc.
• Working with client customers.
• Handling around 40 inbound calls per day. (11 minute calls, 4 per hour).
• Establish strong customer relations with external customers and prevent cancellations.
• Promote client products and services through identifying customer needs and upselling.
• Seek out opportunities to increase revenue by promoting our products and services.
• Ensure department and individual goals are consistently met - Represent client in a positive and professional manner.
• Using MS Office to communicate with the team and log notes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Looking for people who have had sales experience, customer service experience, retail/on ground is okay, but a lot of candidates were unable to keep the conversation going, looking for people who can lead those conversations, no one who has issues speaking to even us
MUST HAVES:
- Willingness to WFH and return to office in the future as required.
- 2 years of Customer Service experience in any capacity with exceptional communication skills
- Sales mentality with the ability to pick up on retention/upselling conversations
- Strong command of English written/spoken.
- Must have WFH capabilities
- Full Schedule Availability
- Must live 100KM or 2 hour commute within the nearest Vancouver/Winnipeg/Calgary client location
NICE TO HAVES:
- Relevant experience in a retention/loyalty customer service role
- Telecommunications experience
