Charge Entry Specialist- 100% On Site
A top healthcarecompany is seeking Charge Entry Specialists to spearhead entering charges and submitting claims to insurance companies. Day to day, you will be comparing the charge capture in the EMR system, adding in any diagnosis codes or modifiers and making any corrections, and then submitting the charge to the insurance companies for payment.

1-2 years benefits investigation experience, preferably from a pharmacy or healthcare setting

A day in the role…
- Work out of a que of charges for the day, navigating through the EMR systems to find the charges
- Adding in any diagnosis codes, adding modifiers, correcting doctors, and making any corrections or edits on information that may have been entered
- Collecting patient documentation and charts for claim submission and updating and maintaining patient billing data
