Job Description:
Primary functions for the Communications Program Manager role include the planning, development, and execution of communications strategies and plans, in support of department-level communications, marketing and positioning objectives, as well as specific group-level service projects or programs. This position is required to understand how to target multiple audiences over a wide variety of internal communications channels. This position will also manage content on an internal SharePoint site with over 200,000 hits per month, manage third party vendor publicity requests, real estate award submissions (third party) and back up the Programs Director in handling global crisis communications affecting client Real Estate and services. This position will occasionally interface with Corp Communications for external (public/press) with appropriate communications and marketing messages and the Brand Team on usage of the brand by third party suppliers on building signage, services vehicles and the like at a global level.
Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the proper use of the voice and brand.
• Present and explain corporate communications and brand guidelines to ensure strict brand and voice compliance by third party suppliers in the field.
• Evaluate internal marketing pieces about real estate projects and services developed by third-party and FTEs and guide on brand usage, graphical appeal, verbiage and use of key messaging.
• Manage homepage content on REFWeb and GWSNet ensure alignment with department 3 year communications plan and in support of priority projects and initiative.
• Confer with global service and portfolio managers to advise them on building wide communications and marketing activities and assets.
• Contribute to and manage a global communications and marketing, key messaging and template library to enable consistent and accurate messaging across all facilities.
• Write, edit, and publish appropriate content as determined by key communication plans in a variety of delivery media, as defined through R&R negotiation with RE&F client teams and balanced against limited time resources.
• Own, drive and manage various short-term communications and marketing projects within Real Estate and Facilities. Projects may include articles, presentation creation, supporting special events, informal meetings, etc.
Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Knowledge of the Style Guide, Brand, website content creation and management, graphic design, copywriting and editing.
• Knowledge of computer software, such as Office 365 and design based software such as PhotoShop, In-Design or Adobe Illustrator.
Education/Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in communications, business administration or a related field.
•8-10 years experience.
•Prefer experience working in real estate.
