What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compensation Analyst position at Aston Carter?
Description:
An Aston Carter client's Total Rewards / HRIS team needs to add 1 experienced compensation analyst to their remote team for a potential contract to hire opportunity.
These candidates will need to be able to immediately begin assisting the comp team on day 1. Their immediate duties will include (but aren't limited to) the following:
• Job Architecture – Job evaluation, Job mapping, Job benchmarking
• Pay Structure- Rebuilt and Support
• Pay Premium Audits
• RN Compensation JD’s Realignment
• Delivery of 4 compensation training sessions per month for Management (Supervisors – AVP). Training includes: Basic Compensation: Job Description, Job Analysis, Market Pricing, et all.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of *recent* compensation analysis experience. (HR BP and HR Generalists will not have the technical acumen to perform this role unless the vast majority of their job involved compensation analytics.)
- The client is going through a comp transformation which requires this team to be agile and comfortable changing tasks quickly.
- Expert level Excel experience - experience using Excel and knowledge of formulas, macros, Vlookups, and pivot tables are required.
- Experience using compensation software tools: MarketPay is currently used, but Comp data, Salary.com, or any other comp analysis tool is acceptable.
- Workday experience also preferred, knowledge of other HRIS systems such as ADP, Peoplesoft, etc. is sufficient.
- There will be an excel test/project included in the interview process.
