Description:
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Financial Reporting Manager and Controller in preparation of monthly financial reports, financial analysis, and budgeting
•This individual will assist the Financial Reporting Manager with month-end close reporting, the budget/forecast and collaborate with operational controllers to ensure complete and accurate financial statements
•The Financial Analyst provides support and responds to inquiries from operational controllers and provides analytical support for financial reports
•This individual will demonstrate proficiency in financial databases and software programs, including excel and must display the qualities of a leader
•Produce monthly financial reporting to stakeholders
•Collaborate with various components of the organization to analyze detailed financials by account and work with Directors of Financial Operations and Regional Controllers to provide detailed financial analysis of monthly financial statements
•Develop thorough understanding of the reporting structure
•Assist in the development of the financial budget
•Assist in maintaining written documentation of budget process and procedures
•Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiencies
•Provide ad-hoc analysis of various financial and operational metrics as assigned
•Develop thorough understanding of utilized ERP Applications (PeopleSoft HR, FS) and EPM applications (EPBCS, FCCS, EDMCS)
•Perform data validation between reporting platforms
•Provide actual vs budget and trend variance analysis as required
Skills & Qualifications:
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
•Ability to compile, analyze, interpret, and present complex financial analysis and projections
•Knowledge of accounting principles and finance systems as well as related applications
•Strong level of attention to detail and accuracy of information
