Description:
- The Human Resources Assistant will assist and support the MANCON HR and Payroll Departments in all aspects and functions.
- Assists with recruitment tasks
- Maintains employee personnel files and payroll recordkeeping responsibilities
- Maintains human resources information system records and compiles reports from the database
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Assists with onboarding of new hires
- Performs quality checks of benefits-related data
- Assists with answering employee payroll, HR/benefits, and other related questions
- Perform payroll data auditing as directed
- Other duties as assigned
- 1 year of HR or Payroll experience - ideally someone who has both would be preferred, HR and Payroll overlap
- Attention to detail
- Data entry skills
- Excel and other Microsoft office experience
- Analytical thought process
- Available to work overtime when needed
- Experience preferred with iCIMS applicant tracking system
- Experience preferred with Microsoft Navision - very tailored to mancon and very rare
- Sedentary work -Occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects.
- Work involves sitting most of the time; walking and standing are required only occasionally.
