Description:

Responsible for reporting, leads small projects, and plays a significant role in larger, more complex initiatives. Develops reporting solutions to support the consolidation of HR reporting across the enterprise. Plays a key role in all phases of report development from gathering requirements to conducting User Acceptance Testing. Interacts with various HR teams and departments, gains experience with the most sought after HCM technology, and develops reports to be used in countries all around the world. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead the compilation of multiple data sources (Workday/PeopleSoft), analysis, and submission of all US compliance reporting (i.e., EEO, AAPs, VETS-4212, CA pay data reporting, etc.) • Support Workday as a reporting subject-matter expert and contribute expertise in Workday's object model, delivered reports and dashboards, custom reports, calculated fields, report performance, security, testing, and deployment. • Interact with business users to understand reporting needs and ensure cohesive and cross-functional impacts are considered and mitigated for reporting. • Assists in creating project plans and provides level-of-effort estimates for project tasks. • Help deploy the strategy of Workday Reporting globally. Take global business requirements and translate those into simplified and organized reporting solutions. Support the development of Workday Reporting roadmap. • Analyze legacy reporting inventory, map reporting needs to Workday reporting options, identify strategies, risks, and options when gaps are identified, recommend approaches and mitigations to meet reporting requirements. • Develop and deploy standard and custom reports, dashboards, and scorecards across all functional modules. • Develop and maintain simple to complex Workday calculated fields and reports (advanced, matrix and composite). • Work with technology/security teams to define and create calculated fields, security policies and other Workday objects to support the evolving reporting needs of the organization. • Support HR Workforce Data & Reporting governance processes and ensure governance standards are followed. • Analyze and optimize report performance; Tests and validates reporting solutions for completeness and accuracy. • Leads review sessions for future releases, analyzing impact and communicating changes to key team members. • Maintain awareness of current trends in Workday Reporting and best practices. • Create documentation, training materials, and conduct training sessions for various groups. • Continuously improve end-to-end reporting processes. • Other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: • 5 – 8 years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience • 4 years of experience with HCM reporting • 2 years of MS Access or relational database experience • 1 years of Workday reporting (preferred) • 1 years of PeopleSoft reporting (preferred) • Experience gathering and evaluating business requirements • Ability to work through ambiguous requirements Must have strong excel skills - merging files, Pivots, v-lookups, etc.
