Worksite Location: Reno, NV
Contract Length: 18 months Contract-to-Hire
Job Description:
The Collections Representative will be responsible for both inbound and outbound calls along with emails regarding past due client accounts.
Good communication skills are essential, as the Collections Representative will be trying to recover company losses by obtaining payments from delinquent clients. Must be proficient in basic math to set up payment plans based on budget information provided by clients. Should be able to respond to caller concerns and difficulties with a sense of empathy and understanding while also maintain firmly that each client make arrangements to satisfy the delinquent account.
Required Skills:
Outstanding customer service skills!
Ability to empathize with and de-escalate upset customers.
Highschool Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications Skills:
1 years of previous experience in collections, bankcard, banking, or financial services a plus
Must possess basic computer skills including MS Office Suite
Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast paced and high-volume environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, inspiring confidence while leading customers through the steps to resolve disputes/issues via phone, chat and email
