Description:
The Internal Marketing and Communications Associate is responsible for the development, management, and execution of the internal marketing and communication strategies on behalf of the organizations internal stakeholders. Primary responsibilities include decision making related to the ongoing development and implementation of communication strategies and plans and creative projects. The Internal Marketing and Communications Associate manages all pertinent information and processes needed to maintain the strategies and communicate effectively with all stakeholders including residents and employees.
Responsibilities:
• Develop enterprise-wide communication strategies that support the business needs of key stakeholders.
• Write, and edit a variety of communications for resident and employee audiences across a variety of channels.
• Responsible for gathering information, conducting research, and hosting interviews with key stakeholders.
• Responsible for partnering with the creative team, including designers, writers, production team and video team to develop materials.
• Open all creative jobs in Workfront, the project management software system, and initiate project movement via critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Oversight, management, and monitoring of editorial calendars for multi-communication channels.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to write strategies, plans and content for a variety of audiences and channels.
• Ability to distill complex ideas into easy-to-understand, positive, and compelling concepts and stories residents and employees want to read.
• Strong attention to detail and passion to produce accurate, high-quality work.
• Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or other related major required.
• Three to five years of experience in internal communications, strategic communications or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook with ability to learn other internal database programs is required.
