What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Aston Carter?
Responsibilities
- Working close with the System Engineer and Resource Management team.
- Report out issues, complete the deliverables, sitting in on multiple huddles, oversee and work on different events they need to help plan or own, events - play a big part in departments culture, employee and staff engagements, and employee appreciation.
- Provides program leadership for assigned functional and cross-functional program improvement efforts.
Must Haves:
- 3 years of program/project management experience and Bachelor's Degree
- Hospital construction planning or construction planning experience
- Project management experience (portfolio management)
- Operations background (working with physical and technical/software programs & integrations i.e. Security Programs, Maximo, Service Now, DunSafe, Maximo Mobile, HS&E, etc.)
- Cross collaboration, working with several departments (will work with several stakeholders and PM's) -- rolling out projects and sustaining it with other teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical skills
- Software program management experience
- Healthcare experience
- Process development and implementation
- Heavy operational/IT focused PM experience
- Comfortable working in the gray area (new department, opportunity to define/shape role and team)
- Connecting physical assets with virtual (Facilities & Security .. examples: HVAC ties into BMS// badge readers//cameras & milestone)
Bonus (not required/not preferred)
- Machinery (HVAC, Facilities, Sensors, Hardware knowledge is a bonus
