Description
- Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as social media recruitment, career fairs, on-line job fairs, community network events, etc. -Develop advertising programs (internal and external) in order to ensure high visibility with potential candidates. -Assist with internal recruitment process, verify that all openings are posted internally and externally, including screening of internal applications, coordination of interview with hiring manager -Create relationships with universities and post positions on University web sites as needed. -Conduct phone screens. Schedule interviews for internal and external applicants. -Enter information into ADP recruiting portal. Run and update reports and logs. -Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to provide information on the interview process status. -Conduct reference checks. Administer background investigations and drug screen/physical -Prepare new hire paperwork and create employee files. -Process invoices -Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and regulations concerning employment. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred. -2-3 years in a Human Resources Generalist role with a focus on recruiting preferred. -Previous manufacturing exp. preferred -Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint -Must have knowledge of employment regulations with the DOL, EEOC, and other legal requirements -Knowledge of various functions (manufacturing, quality, engineering, logistics) -Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organization, exercising a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, poise, tact, and diplomacy to accomplish objectives -Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with the shifting priorities and multiple deadlines
