Description:
The supply chain engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity. This individual will lead and execute strategic improvements of overall supply chain processes within North America Materials with focus on New Product Launch (NPD), Engineering Changes (EC), Part for Every Part (PFEP) and key supply chain aspects of Material Master and related processes and controls, in order to ensure Materials Management teams are set up for successful executon while meeting time to market timelines.

- Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams
- Determine key supply chain KPIs
- Suggest solutions for process improvements
- Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Document step-by-step procedures for the supply planning process
- Train and evaluate others
- Provide constructive feedback
- Work with finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors
- Build and maintain good relationships with vendors

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in the field of Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Business
- 7-10 years of experience in Supply Chain Engineering or materials management is required
- Prior SAP experience required, with an emphasis on materials management
- Knowledge of BOM (bill of material) management and maintenance preferred
- Experience in driving launch readiness processes
- Prior knowledge of effective Engineering Change Management systems preferred
