The Staffing Coordinator for Nursing Services will be responsible for the design and implementation of staffing patterns for professional and nonprofessional nursing employees.

QUALIFICATIONS for the position of Staffing Coordinator:
· Certified Nursing Assistant license required – Active certification
· The Staffing Coordinator must be strong in Excel and Word
· Experience with scheduling software, i.e., Hosted Time or similar software preferred.
· Knowledge of AHCA Regulations required
· Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees' needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing requirements are met for the facility
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Staffing Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
· The Staffing Coordinator establishes staffing patterns and schedules for nurses and nursing assistants
· Works with human resources to advise them of staffing needs, terminations, and other information necessary for the smooth flow of work regarding employees
· Interprets human resource policies for nursing staff and participates in in-service training, works with the DON to schedule training classes
· The Staffing Coordinator assists in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required
· Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences, and recommends appropriate action

Salary : $36,700 - $46,500
