Position Overview:
Astound Business is currently searching for a Strategic Account Executive - GEMS, based remotely in any of the following states: WA, OR or CA. This regional position is responsible for both acquisition sales and overall account ownership in the Medical Vertical markets in our WA, OR, and CA footprint. Ideal candidate will have expertise in large hospital systems and clinics and encompass all facets of customer lifecycle including identifying new sales opportunities, C-Level positioning, delivering professional sales presentations in writing and in person, active follow up, and complex contract negotiations.
The primary position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Drive new relationships and sales in large hospital systems and clinics in the Astound footprint
- Lead responsibility managing existing accounts on an on-going basis ensuring satisfaction and retention through superior customer focus. This includes frequent service follow-ups, problem solving, and emerging needs identification
- Identify and attend key industry events to network, and represent the Astound brand in the market.
- Respond to requests from customers for information, support, assistance, joint proposals, pricing, etc.
- Respond to demand sales requests
- Supports others within the sales/service team to achieve customer satisfaction
- Conduct proactive sales activities, including proactive needs assessment, applications development, proposal presentation, order negotiation and post-sales service requirements
- Negotiate to secure contracts with C-Suite in order to achieve revenue growth and retention
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- 10 - 15 years in a strategic sales capacity with demonstrated success over time
- Expert collaboration skills to effectively communicate across departments internally and externally
- Expert at utilizing tools to find decision makers in complex organizational hierarchies.
- Delivers professional quality business recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ability to sell to C level executives within an organization
- Experience in systems selling, consultative sales techniques, and account planning including account profiling, account positioning strategy, customer needs analysis, sales opportunity development, service improvement planning, and long range account management strategies
- Proficient business acumen in funnel management and forecasting in a CRM environment
- Operational undertanding of telecommunications ordering, provisioning, and billing processes
- Working knowledge of general marketing principle tools and processes
- strong emotional intelligence to work well with internal stakeholders is critical to success
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Minimum 8 year track record of success selling to large Medical business with technical solution
