Maintain: Support the daily operation and maintenance of Real Estate assets, including addressing internal tickets, managing daily service contracts, overseeing preventative maintenance, and supporting employee experience.
Manage: Plan and coordinate infrastructure and facility projects with EHS and the Head of Facilities, including assessing needs, processing bids/documents, overseeing contractor workflow, and managing cost/deliverables/schedule.
Liaison: Be the designated support and liaison to other internal stakeholders especially the machine shop, supply chain, and production functions.
Partner: Work with People Ops to support new employee onboarding, event setup & takedown, headcount seating / planning, furniture/office setup and moves.
This position is based in our Alameda HQ, but will require travel to our Sunnyvale office once a week and our test facility in Castle 1-2 times per quarter.
- You have 3 years experience managing facility operations, operating equipment or machine, or doing skilled labor.
- You are 'handy', able to use your problem solving, tools, and hands to assess and solve basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical challenges.
- · You have experience managing vendor relationships and service contracts.
- · You have managed construction, mechanical, or equivalent projects.
- · You possess interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work across a variety of stakeholders.

- · Technical school / apprenticeship or equivalent.
- BS/BA in applicable field
ITAR Requirements: This position requires compliance with U.S. Government space technology trade restrictions, specifically the International Trafficking in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and additional regulations governing satellite, launch vehicle, missile, and other related technologies. All jobs restricted by these regulations will be contingent upon the applicant’s status as a documented U.S. Person or their ability to receive a trade license from the cognizant government agency; in addition to any required company background checks and in compliance with applicable U.S. and California laws. Similarly, positions requiring the ability to work on government contracts or a security clearance are also contingent upon the applicants ability to receive the appropriate clearance and be allowed to work on U.S. government contracts.
