This position will report to our corporate office in Downtown Austin, Texas
How you will contribute in this role
Come join our internal HR team, helping to support our employees across the organization. Our human resources generalist supports our department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The human resources generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, and will help with important functions such as benefits and leaves, training and development, and compensation.
You can make a difference for our employees every day, by streamlining our onboarding process, helping new hires complete their I9s and benefit enrollments, assisting with day-to-day questions, providing support to employees for leaves of absence and more.
In this role you’ll manage all benefit processes, including both new hire and annual enrollment processes, as well as qualifying events throughout the year. You’ll also have the opportunity to lead open enrollment informational and Q&A sessions. You’ll coordinate the annual employee performance evaluation process and partner with the rest of the HR team to add value to strategic priorities such as employee culture initiatives, employee engagement surveys, diversity, equity and inclusion and more.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need proven success working in an HR department, with 3-5 years of experience, as well as strong benefit and national leave of absence experience (including California leaves). You’ll also need excellent organizational skills with very strong attention to detail; excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness; aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies; the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality; and knowledge of HRIS systems and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary.
