What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative/Help Desk position at ATA Services Inc?

 

ATA Services, Inc. is currently looking to hire a temporary Administrative/Help Desk clerk to work on a 6-week assignment with the State of NM - Public Education Department. This position will start ASAP,  we're looking for candidates to be able to start as soon as Monday, June 3rd. 


The Admin/Help Desk clerk will support The Summer Reading Program. The Summer Reading Program has close to 90 Program Sites throughout the state of NM.  Each Program has chosen their times, dates and duration based on the site and community needs.  Participating students from kindergarten through 8th grade will receive small group reading instruction. The program is based on the science of reading through the structured literacy framework.


  • Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour; weekly pay.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday  7:30am-4:30pm OR 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Start Date: Monday, June 3rd 2024
  • Location: Santa Fe, NM - 300 Don Gaspar 


Job Duties: 

  • Answering incoming calls and responding to calls to the Summer Reading Program Help Desk Hotline.
  • Managing help desk tickets.
  • Providing information and answering inquires regarding the Summer Reading Program
  • Documentation of each interaction


Requirements: 

  • Must be able to start work IMMEDIATELY. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Previous experience answering phone calls
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
  • Exceptional teamwork and leadership skills to help other support workers
