We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized R&D Coordinator to join our research and development team. As an R&D Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to facilitate smooth and efficient R&D operations. Your role will involve coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, and assisting with project planning and execution. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced research and manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the day-to-day activities of the R&D team, ensuring efficient operation and effective communication among team members.
  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and tracking of R&D projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, meeting minutes, and project status for internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and project reviews, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and distribution of materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, consolidate data, and prepare reports or presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Coordinate the procurement of necessary equipment, materials, and supplies for R&D projects, working closely with procurement and vendor management teams.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of laboratory safety protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Assist in the coordination of intellectual property (IP) activities, including patent searches, documentation, and filings.
  • Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing within the R&D team, ensuring information flow and collaboration among team members.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to R&D coordination and project management.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the development and implementation of streamlined procedures and systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Project management required
  • Education or Expierence in Scientific discipline in Manufacturing or Engineering is a plus.
  • Proven experience in coordinating projects or providing administrative support, preferably in a research and development environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all aspects of documentation and data management.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and software applications for scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and procedures is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property processes and documentation is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
