ATC is recruiting for X-Ray Technologist ready to make a positive impact on patients' lives while enjoying fantastic perks along the way. This contract is offered for 6 months with an option to convert to full-time employment with our client.  

As a portable X-ray tech, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures with a high level of technical competency. Your role will require a solid understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology, allowing you to apply ionizing radiation for accurate radiologic diagnoses. You will demonstrate initiative and ingenuity while working with minimal supervision. Opportunities for growth as you will be part of a dynamic, young company passionate about their employees.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform diagnostic portable imaging to patients in their homes, homecare settings or client facilities. 
• Perform X-ray examinations on patients, following established protocols and safety procedures. 
• Ensure patient comfort and cooperation throughout the imaging process. 
• Position patients correctly and accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images. 
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring its proper functionality. 
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information. 

Requirements: 

• Valid certification as an X-ray technologist/ X-RAY Tech 
• Proficiency in performing X-ray procedures with accuracy and efficiency 
• Proficient in reading imaging in an EMR system.
• Solid understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• BLS Certification (Preferred) 
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety 
• Valid driver’s license 

License/Certification: 

• ARRT Certification (Required)
