Receptionist The Receptionist will be responsible for overseeing the reception area of our Global Headquarters located at 80 Guest Street, Boston, MA (Brighton/Boston Landing). This position is a critical part of our employee and client engagement efforts as well as our physical security program. The role requires answering the main company phoneline, greeting visitors, managing security of the reception area, and Project Management support for athenaEnvironment teams.  The Receptionist will also act as an additional system administrator for the global access control system(s) and will support various administrative and system duties as needed. The Receptionist will report to the Senior Manager, Global Security & Services. Job Responsibilities Daily oversight of the Reception area  Covering the Reception desk and answering the athenahealth main phoneline Meeting and greeting visitors to our Headquarters Collaborating with executive assistants on visitor and VIP visits Coordinating and booking use of conference and huddle rooms as needed  Monitoring employee requests for information and facilitating answers Managing our Visitor Management System Ensuring policy compliance for employee, visitors, and contractor access needs Communicating with property management regarding maintenance requests Assisting the athenaEnvironment Team and the Executive Director of athenaEnvironment with other projects, as needed. Collaborate with the Global Security team to ensure a safe and secure operating environment. Responsible for printing and issuing access badges for the athenahealth’s new employees, vendors, and contractors. Responsible for processing requests for lost badges and employee/contractor badge terminations and extensions as requested. Facilitate building evacuations and other life safety drills or actions. Manage ServiceNow Tickets assign and complete, as necessary. Assisting other members of the athenaEnvironment Department in expediting requests for supplies and services; including Landlord requests. Work with internal audit and compliance groups to generate access control reports, maintain access levels for all employees and maintain adherence to current access control guidelines.  Act as a backup to other team members as required to provide excellent customer service.  Other duties as assigned. Typical Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  At least 2 years of professional experience in a corporate setting.
