Position: Director of Student Support Services and Career Development
Location: Athens Campus
Department: Division of Student Affairs
Reports to: Vice President for Student Affairs
Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. State of Georgia benefits package.

Responsibilities:
- Actively communicate to faculty, staff, and students about services offered through student support services, including Academic Support Services, Career Services, Counseling Services, Disability Services, Special Populations Services, and Veteran’s Services.
- Provide supervision to personnel responsible for Academic Support Services, Career Services, Counseling Services, Disability Services, Special Populations Services, and Veteran’s Services.
- Develop, implement, and monitor budgets for student support services programs and services on an annual basis.
- Ensure accuracy of student support services information on the college website.
- Develop annual goals and objectives for student support services, including academic support, career services, counseling services, disabilities services, special population services, and veteran services.
- Direct the establishment of a comprehensive career center and career services including workshops and individual supports to current and prospective students and alumni.
- Conduct placement follow-up on newly graduated students.
- Supervise and provide career counseling services to assist students, applicants, and alumni in assessing their abilities, interests and values in relation to job and career opportunities, as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate employer recruitment of ATC students for career placement.
- Ensure that students with documented disabilities are appropriately identified as such in BANNER and that they receive accommodations for which they are eligible.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
