Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The Human Resources Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions. This position requires a strong understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Responsibilities:
- Administer various HR programs and initiatives, including but not limited to: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
- Manage employee data in the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with talent management activities, including employee development, succession planning, and performance evaluations.
- Support the FMLA process by coordinating leave requests, maintaining accurate records, and providing guidance to employees.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create job descriptions and job postings for open positions.
- Conduct interviews and assist with the selection process for new hires.
- Assist with the implementation of strategic HR initiatives and programs.
- Provide guidance to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support affirmative action planning and reporting requirements.
- Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain knowledge of current HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g., Taleo, Ceridian) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with strategic planning processes and talent management principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus.
