POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Business Analyst will work collaboratively with the IT Development Business Analysis Manager and Senior PMs on critical projects to analyze business objectives of the stakeholders to develop solutions to business issues. Will assist in defining process for both current and future state, gathering requirements, creating business requirements documentation and identifying and documenting organizational change management goal and processes. May facilitate requirements gathering sessions with district stakeholders. Will assist stakeholders in the design and construction of online and hybrid courses. Can independently develop entry and advanced level courses for internal audiences. Able to utilize multimedia technology and authoring tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Uses technical and organizational skills to identify possibilities for improvement within the business structure and implements systematic solutions
- Responsible for translating the user's needs into technicalities that can be implemented to improve the company while also acting as a filter in determining what is truly needed on both ends (consumer and producer)
- Through observation, determines what both individuals and departments can do to be more effective. Collaborates with internal teams to define scope, requirements, and implementation timeline. Ensures that process methodologies, templates, and tools are properly and consistently utilized
- Provides regular communications and status updates to key stakeholders
- Works with internal and external contributors to create innovative product features with the goal of improving engagement and retention
- Designs and facilitates the development of interactive and engaging blended learning solutions (self-guided, instructor led, or web based) based on specific learning objectives determined by the business or through needs analysis
- Assists in the development of appropriate instructional support tools and training to continuously educate and update users in current and new applications
- Conducts group and individual instructional technology training and assistance for course management class administrators
- Works with key stakeholders to define, design, develop, deliver and measure learning and development strategies, programs, and initiatives
- Performs other duties as assigned by administrator
- Required to attend scheduled shift during regular business hours as mandated
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Expertise in creating and conducting training for IT or educational technologies
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to develop effective and cooperative working relationships with APS departments and employees
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, including the ability to convey complex and technical subjects in a clear, concise, and positive manner
Requirements :
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor'S Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related subject
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of three years of experience as a Business Analyst on major IT implementations
- Experience in the K-12 industry is a plus
- Experience supporting the development of requirements, development of processes and procedures, process mapping, analyzing operations and methods to improve quality and effectiveness, creation of documentation, user and system manuals, test cases, or other technical and functional documents
- Experience with designing face to face and online training is required
- Experience with training adults is required
- Expertise with the Online Learning platform is a plus
