Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Fire & Life Safety Systems
- Troubleshoot and repair general carpentry, plumbing and electrical issues.
- Operate and monitor the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure optimal performance of building systems.
- Manage vendor service contracts and the supervision of on-site vendor personnel.
- Stay current with the latest trends, technology and best practices related to facility maintenance, sustainability, and management, identifying potential upgrades to current procedures and maintenance/inventory tracking.
- Assist the Director, Facility Operations with OPEX and CAPEX budget oversight, development, and forecasting.
- Perform preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment with a particular emphasis on HVAC systems and filter replacement.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests during and outside of normal business hours.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
- Assist the Coordinator, Facility Operations on special event scheduling and operations.
- Assist the grounds team with any tasks that require additional support.
- Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
- High school diploma with an equivalent mix of post-secondary education, trade school/apprenticeship, and/or practical experience.
- Some level of formal HVAC training required.
- Experience maintaining building systems, developing maintenance programs, and functional knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical.
- Availability to be on-call and work long hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays if needed.
- Must be able to move and/or lift, up to 50lbs and have the ability to work in inclement weather conditions.
- Must have a valid GA driver’s license.
