The Commercial Operation Coordinator coordinates commercial airline activities to ensure safety and training standards are met while maintaining compliance with all airport regulations.
Job Responsibilities
General Duties
Strong working knowledge of FBO operations, customer service principles and the Atlantic Aviation service philosophy.
Foster and maintain professional work relationships with operational leaders, co-workers and clientele.
Comply with all airport authority rules and regulations including AOA/SIDA operations and airport security requirements.
Participate in continuous training including NATA programs and company designed curriculum.
Follow site practices and procedures that contribute to a safe, profitable, positive, and fun work environment.
Always use sound judgment to ensure a safe and accident free work environment.
Adhere to the principles of the “Atlantic Attitude” as all times.
Essential duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Ensure that departments and personnel have adequate badge/security credentials to maintain safe and efficient operations, while facilitating a high level of customer service.
Escorting personnel between the facilities and GSE for the Islands.
Assist with coordinating and facilitating GSE storage in off season.
Coordinate with Realtors/property management companies regarding housing on the Islands for employees.
Develop and maintain relationships with MVY and ACK Airport Authority.
Ensure effective hiring practices to identify qualified candidates, retain key talent and maintain a stable workforce to meet the demanding needs of the JetBlue operation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate.
Valid state driver’s license and at least 18 years of age.
Meet Atlantic Aviation’s operational and safety training requirement.
Aptitude in supervising and developing staff.
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Consistently demonstrated good organizational and leadership skills.
Participation in Atlantic Leadership Training.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Customer relations skills required.
Flexible work schedule may include working overtime, nights, weekends, holidays, and be on call.
