Your Role

Commercial Contract Specialist

You are a collaborative, customer curious and solution-focused person who wants to be a critical part of the new equipment order acquisition process for Atlas Copco Comptec (ACC).

The Commercial Specialist role provides influence into the daily activities of selling new equipment. Managing the legal aspects of sales, and complying with banking and Atlas Copco guidelines is a critical function.

Organization of information & processes and keeping this current allows for the entire Applications Engineering Department to perform at the highest levels.

What you will manage & improve :

• New Equipment Commercial Review and Negotiation Process with support from experts within the Applications Engineering Department and throughout the Atlas Copco business.
• Screen all potential new equipment customers to ensure compliance with legal, commercial, and sustainability requirements of Atlas Copco.
• Support New Equipment Order Processing & Entry while collaborating with the responsible Applications Engineer, Sales Manager, ACC Agent, and company partners.
• Lead the completion of Customer Qualification questionnaires, including compilation of all supporting documentation.
• Support monthly reporting, including data acquisition, preparation, and automation.

To succeed, you will need

What you already know :

• You have prior experience in contracts management, as a paralegal, or other commercial contracts-related background.
• You have a basic understanding of business legal terms and conditions of purchase.
• You have experience using an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system like SAP.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with an attention to detail.
• You are highly organized and committed to meeting deadlines.
• You have a willingness to learn and grow in the position and be proactive.
• You are a self-starter, with a positive make-happen attitude.
• You can handle multiple high-priority tasks throughout a typical workday.

What you will learn (if you don’t know already) :

• How we sell new equipment, who are our customers, and how our equipment enables our customers’ success.
• How to use our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to manage customer account details, customer inquiry support, and reporting.
• How to review customer contract terms and conditions to identify risk and manage the process of win-win negotiations resulting in mutual agreement of new equipment contract terms.
• How we ensure integrity, sustainability, and profitability through screening of all new equipment customers before accepting new equipment orders.
• What our customers need from ACC to ensure we can continue to have a mutually beneficial business relationship and receive future new equipment requests for quotation.

The salary range for this position is $52, to $85, annually.
