As a Systems Administrator on our IT team, you will work to deliver exceptional customer service supporting our business operations teams as they develop cutting edge software for the aviation industry. Bring your experience supporting complex IT environments and your passion for learning! The role is remote (US) and will report to the IT Team Lead.
What You’ll Accomplish - Your Performance Objectives
In your first 30 days, learn the environment, processes, procedures, and applicable policies for your role.
• Microsoft products (O365, Azure AD, etc.)
• Amazon products (AWS, Connect, etc.)
• Various SaaS applications
• Service Desk w/ SLAs
In your first 3 months, you will individually address assigned service desk tickets, monitor systems health, monitor and manage service desk queues, and support other team members on projects as needed.
• Utilize Jira products for issue tracking and management
• Manage user interactions via ticketing to ensure audit record
• Document all aspects of system and user profile/asset modifications
• Inventory/Tracking of IT assets including user computing devices and enterprise systems
• Ordering devices for new and existing users
• Vendor engagement for order management
In your first 6 months, leverage experience in environment to deliver efficient, technically-sound guidance to team and supervisor on methods to optimize service delivery.
• Monitor and review system dashboards/reports and provide recommendations
• Proactively engage with team members to maintain a healthy infrastructure
• Maintain security best practices for patching/updating for overall system(s) health
In your first 12 months, establish yourself as a go to within the team as a capable, seasoned, effective IT systems administrator we know you can be!
