Atrium Hospitality LPDirector of Revenue ManagementFull timeThe Director of Revenue Management is to provide determine the optimal mix of sales and execute strategies to achieve the ideal mix of business through pricing, inventory management and distribution strategies across all revenue channels. In conjunction with Atrium's visions, standards and initiatives, the Director, Revenue Management will develop, implement, evaluate, and communicate all transient, group and contract pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies.
This role needs to have both Hilton and Marriott revenue management experience.
The role would need to work in the Pacific Time Zone
The Director, Revenue Management will also collaborate and provide analytics and guidance on the pricing and inventory management of catering F&B (Food & Beverage), function space, ala carte F&B, and other revenue streams. Based on the needs of the company, the Director, Revenue Management will support multiple hotels, reporting into the Vice President of Revenue Management, while collaborating with the Enterprise Group Coordinators and the property General Manager, Sales Leader, Front Office Manager, and other hotel leadership team members to achieve the revenue goals.
Work Performed:
The Director, Revenue Management will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and adjust transient, group and contract mix of sales, inventory, pricing, and distribution strategies to achieve the hotel goals.
- Evaluate and provide recommendations on pricing, inventory management and distribution of catering, outlet, and other revenue streams.
- Demonstrate an understanding of market conditions, industry trends, and the competition by analyzing STAR data, TravelClick Business Intelligence, Brand reports and other competitive insight.
- Control all aspects of the property Central Reservation System and Revenue Management systems, including daily management and proper set up of rates, inventory, distribution, and business rules.
- Review Proformas and Displacement Models to assist in determining the optimal mix of business and understanding the profitability of potential accounts.
- Responsible for accurate data input and report generation of revenue tracking tools.
- Work with the Enterprise Group Coordinator or other designated associate to ensure group block and pickup inventories are accurate, current, balance between systems, and follow netting and cutoff guidelines.
- Facilitate the Revenue Strategy Meetings based on business levels. Communicate content and action plans through meeting minutes.
- Maintain the room revenue forecast in the brand revenue management system and share the forecast with the property General Manager and Sales Leader to input into ProfitSword.
- Actively participate in property reviews and visits by corporate staff and Brand representatives.
- Provide training to the hotel team members about the capabilities and limitations of the hotel's systems and how strategies are carried out through these systems.
- Maintain informational databases to ensure accurate, current, and thorough information is distributed consistently and correctly across all channels.
- Assist in preparation of the Forecasts, Budget, Strategic Plan.
- Provide effective communication to the reservation call center to ensure successful sales of the property.
- Ensure the implementation of Corporate /Brand Revenue Initiatives.
- Monitor and ensure proper market segmentation coding
- Travel to meetings and training classes, as necessary.
Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
Preferred Prior Experience:
2 years of revenue management experience
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or related discipline or 3 years of commensurate experience in related business field
Required Technology:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Preferred Technology:
Hilton, Marriott, IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) and/or Independent brand revenue management systems
