What are the responsibilities and job description for the Embroidery Specialist position at ATS PRINTING?
Multi-head production embroidery specialist for apparel decoration and fulfillment company. Experience beneficial, but training will be provided with or without experience. Monday - Friday work week, 7:00am - 3:45pm with some overtime and occasional weekends available. Position requires operating one and sometimes two embroidery machines simultaneously in a high production environment.
- As an Embroidery Specialist, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality embroidered products for our clients
- The ideal candidate should have a strong background in embroidery techniques, machine operation, and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure the accuracy and precision of each finished product
- Embroidery Machine Operation: Operate and maintain embroidery machines to produce custom designs on various apparel and promotional items
- Design Setup: Prepare and set up embroidery designs on the machine, ensuring proper placement, size, and color matching according to client specifications
- Material Selection: Select appropriate materials, threads, and backings based on the nature of the embroidery project and the type of fabric being used
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on completed embroidery work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to customer requirements
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues with the embroidery machines, such as thread breaks, tension problems, or equipment malfunctions, to ensure smooth operations
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including graphic designers and sales associates, to understand customer requirements and deliver a seamless production process
- Maintaining Records: Keep accurate records of embroidery jobs, including design specifications, production times, and any issues encountered during the process
- Adherence to Standards: Follow industry best practices and company standards for quality and efficiency in embroidery production
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the embroidery area and equipment, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
