Job Title: SharePoint Administrator

Salary: $90,000.00- $110,000.00 wage range. You will receive a competitive total rewards package that is applicable to the U.S. only. The salary range may vary based on experience, skillset, and geographical location.
AttainX is seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of SharePoint technologies and experience in SharePoint Object Model (OM), development, and administration. You will be responsible for administering and supporting Microsoft SharePoint and Project Server/PWA environments, including configuration, maintenance, and user support. You will also ensure proper governance, compliance, and availability of systems, while collaborating with stakeholders and IT teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Expertise with SharePoint Object Model (OM), SharePoint Designer, and Visio.
- Proficiency in development technologies: Java, Visual Basic, C#, HTML5, CSS3, PowerShell, XML, XSLT, XPath, REST API, .NET, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL, and VBA.
- Experience with InfoPath, Microsoft Project, Project Server/PWA, and SQL Server.
- Excellent understanding of SharePoint architecture, customization, and governance practices.
- Experience in managing large-scale SharePoint environments, including server configurations and upgrades.
- Ability to collaborate with developers to customize SharePoint using a variety of technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to SharePoint and Project Server.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders and promote SharePoint adoption across the organization.
- Microsoft SharePoint certification highly preferred.
- Experience in SharePoint migrations or upgrades.
- Knowledge of cloud-based SharePoint environments (e.g., SharePoint Online).
- Familiarity with compliance and discovery features in SharePoint.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government issued public trust. Excellent communication, collaboration, and written communication skills to work across teams and departments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, MS, Excel, and MS Teams.
- Must be able to pass and maintain a security clearance public trust background check.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administration, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint and Project Server/PWA environments.
- Develop and implement a SharePoint governance plan to ensure compliance, proper usage, and security.
- Promote user adoption of SharePoint by conducting training sessions, creating documentation, and supporting end users.
- Monitor available storage, performance, and usage of SharePoint environments.
- Implement compliance and discovery features for SharePoint, ensuring security and data integrity.
- Negotiate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with stakeholders, ensuring expectations for uptime, performance, and response times are met.
- Enforce ownership of applications and sites with stakeholders to ensure accountability and proper maintenance.
- Collaborate with developers to customize and extend SharePoint functionality using languages such as Java, Visual Basic, C#, HTML5, CSS3, PowerShell, XML, XSLT, XPath, REST API, .NET, JavaScript, JQuery, and SQL.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint and Project Server/PWA, including performance issues, errors, and user support requests.
- Install, configure, and maintain third-party add-ons and tools for SharePoint and Project Server.
- Collaborate with IT teams to test backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place and operational.
