Reliability Engineer
Bishop, TX
- Pay Rate: BOE
- Role starting April 2023.
- PTO, Benefits, and 401(k).
- Contracted role expected to last at least 4 months.
- Potential for Hybrid role with at least 3 days needed in office.
Audubon is currently seeking a Reliability Engineer to join our team working onsite at a client's plant in Bishop, TX. The Reliability Engineer will assist with Mechanical Integrity and Reliability onsite.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Areas of Responsibility will include:
- Developing and managing equipment maintenance plans for area equipment.
- Tracking and analyzing reliability data on Critical Equipment.
- Developing Maintenance Strategies for equipment.
- Identifying and defining reliability improvements for daily maintenance as well as projects.
- Tracking, managing, and analyzing area asset reliability data.
- Conducting daily job site inspections and walkthroughs.
- Identifying and scoping potential reliability improvement projects.
- Providing input to weekly maintenance schedules.
- Assisting with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
- Participating in safety programs and initiatives.
- Additional duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering highly preferred or a related engineering discipline.
- 2 years' Maintenance/Engineering experience in a chemical manufacturing environment or other manufacturing environments may be considered.
- Proactive problem-solving approach.
- Knowledge of a maintenance scheduling tool.
- Understanding of industry design, repair standards and maintenance practices.
